Happy Friday everyone! I don't know if it is the Winter days or because Brawn (the mister) is out of town on work but the weeks seem to be going by very slowly. On top of that, I greatly miss the presence of the Mister- which doesn't make it any easier.
Another strange factor is that my roommate happen to be going out of town at the same time. So I am forced to be at home, alone, with plenty of time to think to myself & do some inward studying without interruption.
There are pros & cons to this because sometimes it is easier for me to be distracted.
There are a few things I am being called to do right now.
One of them is getting my diet & health on track, but not in a way I have ever experienced before. This isn't a ploy to lose weight & get thin. This is an active plan to create my body as the temple it is & celebrate myself on a new level. In order to do there are a few things I need to let go of & some other things I need to put in their place.
Last Monday I took alcohol out of my diet. Each week, I plan to take something else out & replace with something better.
This Monday, I plan to remove flour. I have a feeling this will be a little harder for me because I LOVE my bread, pizza, pasta, tortillas & breaded wings. But I know this will leave me feeling better in the long run. So it is worth the extra effort today.
I am going to create a meal outline for next week that will enable me to be prepared for what I will be living without. That way there is less room for temptation & much more room for success!
