This weekend was a long & interesting affair. A lot of things shifted within me. I’m still sorting through everything, really.
While I went to Boyd, Texas & spent time at the breathtaking A Day Away Retreat, my roomie, Heather ventured out to Alabama to another retreat with 5 or so other people.
All of which were, as I like to call them, energetically inclined.
Yesterday we finally made it back under the same roof & Heather presented a concept to me that has been brewing in my mind (& soul) since she shared - I want to relay it to you all here.
In another time & space (not on Earth) each & every soul walking the Earth existed as one. At one time Earth was a place us souls came to visit - a vacation, if you will - only to return to the collective consciousness when we felt complete.
However, at some point, we began reincarnating so much & often that we soon forgot we were all once, one being. Existing in only harmony & love. We became disconnected.
In addition to this concept, our soul is vast. All of it cannot be contained in this one body. So imagine that there are fragments of your soul currently existing in other parts of the Universe. They are still very much a part of who you are - they just aren’t in your human body.
This doesn’t mean you are not complete- you are. But it does mean that you can call on these fragments of yourself to contribute to what you are creating here.
This idea is particularly exciting for me because it means that there is still plenty of knowledge I have yet to obtain (not that I ever doubted it, but this concept makes it easier to grasp the unknown.) in regard to manifestation, abundance, acceptance, joy, love & all the other juicy things we are here to experience in this time and space.
I am still going to spend time contemplating the many facets of this new found knowledge & I encourage you to do the same. My hope is that this idea inspires compassion for yourself & your fellow Earthling Visitors.
What are your thoughts on our collective consciousness? Do you think it’s crap or can you feel the connection to your fellow man & know there is something more available through connection?
PS. In the past, I was a very picky eater. I am only just beginning to expand my pallet. This weekend I ate salad & enjoyed it for the first time. EVER. Thank you to Lacy for asking & kudos to me for trying. Yay. (Spinach salad with walnuts, raspberry vinaigrette & goat cheese).
This will send you a fresh copy of my blog every time I write a new post and update you on special offers.
