Lately my days have been filled with planning for our wedding that's coming up on June 11th.
I've always believed that in every obstacle there is a lesson to be learned - otherwise it wouldn't be standing in our way in the first place.
There have been a couple of things that have really been present for me over the past couple of weeks.
One being that I am so blown away & grateful for all the support our friends & family have shown us.
They have stepped up to the plate in ways I never dreamed of - it truly makes this time in my life even more special. (Thank you!)
The other is that it has shown me how to really listen for my inner voice when it shows up.
I'm not a big believer in should's & shouldn'ts.
So when others share their thoughts with me of how I should be doing things my first instinct is to say 'thank you for sharing' & move on with my day.
I appreciate having the knowing I do at this time in my life.
I believe we all must live our lives to our own standards & no one else's.
How miserable it must be to always be trying to make everyone else happy. (& impossible!)
I believe this also stands true for anyone who is in a relationship. Don't look at what everyone else is doing & how it works for them. Find what works best for YOU and YOUR other person - that is the key.
At the end of all of this, I will look back & know that I did the very best that I could, & it turned out amazing because it was all in alignment with what The Mister & I wanted - no one else.
This will send you a fresh copy of my blog every time I write a new post and update you on special offers.
