When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was 2 it was a toss-up between ballerina and a garbage man. I thought riding on the back of a truck looked like a blast. I went on to study dance for 12-ish years...I have yet to ride on the back of a garbage truck. YET. But you never know what the future holds...
If you could pick 3 colors to surround you for the next 6 months, what would they be? Violet, green and soft gold. Absolutely...for both energetic and aesthetic reasons.
What is your number 1, super-duper, never ending important goal for your life? Spending as much time with my family as possible. They make me happy...even when they drive me crazy. I love them.
What is the first thing that crosses your mind most mornings? Is it possible for your brain to sigh? My brain usually sighs and then thinks the following:
coffee, mental list of what I need to do. I wish I could say it was meditation or an affirmation, but right now that simply isn't the case. When I'm no longer a slave to my alarm clock I plan on changing that.
Who is your favorite super-hero? Jean Grey: She uses her mind to kick butt...and she's a redhead. We redheads have to stick together.
Tell us one strange-ish fact about you... Wow...that's a really really really really hard one to answer. My entire life has been nothing but a string of strange (and morbid) occurrences. There was my college roommate that the housing magicians at UT Austin paired me with; she poisoned her father...or there's the time (or 2) I ran off and joined the circus (well...a circuses of sorts). But I think the one people find most interesting is the fact that I'm an intuitive. I'm an intuitive that lives in a haunted Victorian house. That fact usually raises some eyebrows. *grin*
What celebrity figure has given you the most inspiration within the last year? Bob Hope, Audrey Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart have been my go-to's for inspiration my entire life. They were such amazing people. There are two quotes I'm particularly fond of...Jimmy Stewart as Elwood P. Dowd in the film "Harvey" and they're brilliant:
Alli Woods Frederick
